Last Nights game was a good fought game, but there was some real questionable calls that refs made.
That mourning before the game, Torrey Smith got a phone call saying that his 19 year old brother has been killed in a motorcycle accident. He was told that its up to him that he wanted to play in this game. Right before Kickoff he decided to play. He had a good game. he caught the 1st TD in this game. them he caught another TD to make us down by pts.
Joe Flacco had to lead us 70 yds for the game winning touchdown or a field goal. And he did a great a job to throwing the ball to a open Jacoby Jones. who made that nice catch. later flacco threw a deep pass to Jones again. He did not catch the ball so we had the ball in very good field position to win us the game.
Unlike the AFC championship game the kicker Austin Tucker made the field goal. that field goal made us win the game.
Last night the Baltimore played the Cincinnati Bengals in Baltimore, MD. The team did a lot to show to prove that they should be contenders for the Super Bowl this season. There are many key contribution in this huge win by the Baltimore Ravens.
I thought Flacco had is best game in the NFL last night.His 1st pass for this season was a 50 yd bomb to Torrey smith. He lead the offemse down field to the redzone the most of the game. we had to punt the ball away one or two times in the game. Flacco was 21/29 , 299 yds , 2 TD. he didn't throw any interceptions in this game. Flacco looked good in the AFC championship game were he outplayed Tom Brady. I think Flacco outplayed any of the top 5 qbs in the NFL in week 1. I think Flacco should be contending to be the League MVP this year. I think he will win it if he keeps on putting those numbers up for the rest of the season.
I knew that Ray Lewis was going to have a big game when I saw him crying during the Art Modell Tribute before the game. Once I saw it posted to Facebook, that Ray will have a good game. And I was right, he had 11 tackles and he a sack. Those are pretty good stats for a 37 year old Linebacker.
I think Ed Reed had a good game, Yes he did have one interception that he did run back for a touchdown. By the way he broke the NFL record on that play. . He ha now has 1,497 interception return yards. There were other chances that he could 2 more interception were the ball fell out of his hands.
You can that the late Art Modell was with us last night. We did everything right for him in honor this game for him. I think his death with others is the key to help us win The Super Bowl this year. All of the fans and players in this city loves this man. He is the reason why there football back in Baltimore.
On September 10, 2012, the Baltimore Ravens will face the Bengals for week 1 of the regular season. I am so excited to watch my boys play some football, since that terrible loss in the AFC championship game against the Patriots.
I don't see us losing to the Bengals again in this game, we have never loss a week 1 game with Flacco and with Harbaugh. I hope we keep it that way against the Bengals. Andy Dalton is a good QB but he no top tier QB like Flacco, Rothlisberger, Brady, Brees, and the Manning brothers. I think he had a good year because he had AJ Green. I think Green was a top 10 WR even as a rookie. I know this year people will make sure that he is covered. So that means that this young QB has to look to see who open. with our pass rush will make sure that he will be sacked.
Yeah I know it will be hard to replace Suggs, but the next man has to step up. If that's a Paul Kruger, Kindle, Upshaw or McClellan. I think your Secondary is too good to let people get open so that mean more time to get to Qb. I see a lot of interceptions in this game because we have a Reed, Webb, Smith,Williams and Pollard back there. Sometimes Pollard can stop the run or blitz the qb. and he can lay hit on people if he wants.
I think the ravens will win with the score 21-7
