Ravens Vs Jaguars Preseason 3

Last night’s game was the best performance that I saw from the Baltimore Ravens in this preseason game. I was at the game last night so I saw the action on the field and on the sidelines because I was sitting behind the Ravens bench. I was impressed with the whole team performance, but they were a few that impressed me the most.

Joe Flacco impressed me buy he had a different confidence that I never saw in him before. He had been doing a good job running the no huddle. He threw touchdown passes to Anqaun Boldin and to Vonta Leach. He did throw an interception, but I was a hail marry throw just before halftime. So I am not mad at that.

Torrey Smith had his best preseason game so far in his preseason career by having 8 catches with 103 yards. I got scared when I saw him limping on the field in the 1st quarter. And i heard on the press conference by John Harbaugh, that he wanted to sit Torrey for the remainder of the game because of the injury. Then Torrey went up to Harbaugh and asked if he can go back in the game because he fine. So Harbaugh did. Then that is when Torrey had these incredible stats.

I was also impressed with Tyrod Taylor; he threw for a touchdown and also ran for a touchdown. He looked a lot better throwing the ball than he did so far in the preseason. In the other games he was looking to run the ball more than throwing it. In this game he ran when he had to and threw it when he had too.

Finally I was impressed with Justin Tucker, who made all the feild goals in the preseason. He even made a 53 yard feild goal. It looked like it could have gone another 10 yards. I  think that he will get the kicker job because I didnt see Cundiff kick at all, but i notice him he was alone in the sidline. and he looked upset that he wasnt kicking at all last night.

Ravens Vs Jagaurs Preview

Tonight at 7:30 the Baltimore Ravens will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium. I am hearing that Marcie Jones Drew is still holding out. That’s some good news for our defense who has been struggling in this preseason. Tonight is the game to watch in the preseason because the starters will play 3 Quarters.

I have seen a new confidence that I seen in Flacco since he became a father. He has been the leader of the offense. He has been doing great with the no huddle offense. All of this throws have been good, they just need to be caught by the Wide Receivers. I hope to see the same thing out with Flacco in the 3rd preseason game.

I am hoping to see a big game out of our 6th round draft pick, Tommy Streeter. I love this kid size and his speed, but he has a hard time catching the ball. I think that he will play his butt off to make that last WR spot. I like his potential but he a project WR that needs to learn how to play in the NFL. i think once he is fully developed he can be a Larry Fitzgerald type of player who is tall and catch the ball but who can run in open space.

Ravens VS Falcons Preseason 1

The starters on the Offense and Defense both scared me tonight. The Defense gave up 17 points in the first half. The Starters on the offense only scored 7 points. There was only 3 players that caught  my eye in tonight’s preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. They were Curtis Painter, Bobby Rainey, and Omar Brown.

The player of the game was Curtis Painter. Who went 7 out 14 passes, thrown 76 yards and threw 3 TD passes. I think we will keep Painter to be a 3rd string QB. I say that so we can use Tyrod Taylor more some trick plays this season. We couldn’t do any last season because we had only Tyrod as backup last yr.

Bobby Rainey was someone else that got my attention. He was a threat on the Special teams as well as on the Offense.  This kid looks like he will replace Ricky Williams as Ray rice backup. He had amazing TD when he caught a screen pass from Painter and thanks to his blockers he weaved his way for a 20 yard TD pass.
Omar Brown aslso in impressed me on the defense.  He had recoved 2 fumble and had a sick Intercepection. He recovered a fumble after the Falcons QB failed to give the ball to his RB on a handoff. The other fumbled he recoverd is when a LB striped a ball away from WR. The ball went right to him for him to scoop it up to try to ruin it for a TD.

Ravens Vs Falcons Tomorrow

Tomorrow night the Baltimore Ravens will face the Atlanta Falcons in the 1st preseason game. Kickoff starts at 7:30pm.

I am so excited to watch my boys play my favorite sport. Even though this game is preseason game, I still treat it like we are playing in the Super Bowl. I do that because I hate to see my team to lose.

The players that I am looking forward to seeing in this game are rookie Courtney Upshaw, Justin Tucker, Jacoby Jones, and Sergio Kindle. I want to see Upshaw play because he was our 1st pick that we made in the draft. He is also is replacing the injured Terrell Suggs, so I want to see if he can step up big to replace him for the 1st month of the season. I want to see Tucker because I think he can replace Billy Cundiff as our kicker. This Kid can kick the long ball. He never missed a field goal when he was in college. I can’t wait to see Jones play because he is threat on the offense as well as on Special Teams. He will most likely be our number 3 WR on the depth chart and he might be our punt returner. Former number 1 pick, Sergio kindle has looked great in camp since his tragic accident 2 years ago. He had to relearn the position since he damage his head.  I will love him to play a game like he did when he was in college.

Justin Tucker

I think Undrafted Kicker Justin Tucker will beat out Billy Cundiff for the Kicker for the Baltimore Ravens. This kid started his junior year of college. In his 2 years as starter for Texas, he made 40 field goals out of 48 field goals attempted.  The thing that I liked important about this kid is that he never missed a field goal in the 4th quarter.

He also has a very strong leg; he can nail a 70 yard field goal. I know that you guys will say that not possible but there is a video that Justin Tucker uploaded to YouTube of him doing it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28wQOvEu2PU

I know that the Ravens like Cundiff a lot but i think this kid will be special. I think he can be the next Adam Vinatieri. I have a feeling that this kid will be the reason why the Baltimore Ravens will be in the Super Bowl this year.

I know some fans that i talk to think that this kid will just be like Steven Hauscka.  I don’t see the comparison. Hauscka had a good leg like Tucker, but Hauscka was terrible being accurate with the long kicks. He had the power to make them but they always went wide left. I think that Tucker is more accurate than Hauscka and Cunfiff will ever be.

I am most looking to see what this Tucker can do in the preseason this year. i was never excited about a kicker until I saw what this kid can do.

This is the Ravens Year to win The super bowl

think this is the year that the Baltimore Ravens will win super bowl. I will admit I am the type of fan that says it every year. Both my head ad heart ate telling me this our year to win a super bowl.

Flacco is now entering his 5th season in the NFL, and I think this will be his best season yet. Each year he has been getting better at the QB position, and now he is entering his prime of his young career. When he was a rookie, he was more of a game manger. He would hand the ball a lot, so our defense can get some rest.  Now, Flacco can lead the offense down field in the clutch situations. He lead us Down field against the Steelers in week 9 to throw a game winning td with 8 seconds left in the game. He almost did the something in the AFC Championship against the Patriots. He led us down field for a chance to advance to the super bowl. He threw a perfect pass to Lee Evans in the end zone. Evans caught the ball, but he didn’t hold on to the ball. He dropped the ball when a guy hit his arm. I expect the same type of play by Flacco this season. Since Flacco has come into NFL, he won more regular season games in that time span.

With Flaccco at QB I think we can have a top 5 offense this year. We will always have a top defense in the NFL. If you have a good thing if you have an offense was you can score and have a defense that let teams score on them. I expect the best season we will ever have in Ravens history. I think we will 14-2 this year, I only say 2 games cause you never know which game were we play horrible. I hope it not in the playoffs. This the year that we will prove to the HATERS that this is our year to win the super bowl.
The Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger got hurt in week 9 when he played my Baltimore Ravens. He told the media that he tore his rotator cuff. And people are telling me it’s not a big deal because it heals by itself. If the injury happened in Nov of 2011, and it’s still not 100% that’s a sign to me that it serious.
I am so thrilled to hear this news. I know that Big Ben might be young but he has taken a lot of hits during his career. So if he plays this year and plays like shit, I think the Steelers fans will want Big Ben head. I say that because I told those stupid fans that the Steelers will go 6-10 this year.
Now that Big Ben has injured his rotator cuff, he needs that to throw it deep. I see their D will struggle as well as their Offense because there players are too OLD to play in the NFL. They do have young players but they have no experience playing in the NFL. With a not a good Defense and a poor Offense, the Steelers will have the worst season that they had with the Rooney Family.
If you are a diehard raven fan like me, you are thrilled that this could happen to your least favorite team in the NFL. They were the ones that laughed at our faces when Suggs got hurt in May. At least we can tell them that our key player got hurt ways before training camp, and it will heal up and be ready by October.
